hey there, i’m delilah.

Creative Director, Screen Actor, Multi-Disciplinary Artist, Visual Storyteller, and Collaborator.

I was born in Whakatāne, New Zealand, and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada from the age of three. Growing up between places – between a sense of belonging – shaped the way I see the world. It made me curious. It made me ask questions. Who am I? What makes us fit in? What makes us stand out?

That curiosity became a career in storytelling.

As long as I can remember I’ve been drawn to the camera. Whether behind it or in front of it, I explore stories through film, photography, performance, and fashion.

Now based in Aotearoa New Zealand, I work across acting, directing, and various creative side-projects. My practice sits at the intersection of art, story, and people, bringing ideas to life from concept through to execution.

At 18, I moved from Canada to New Zealand on my own. This was a leap that challenged me, grounded me, and shaped the creative path I’m on today.

I studied at ELAM School of Fine Arts (University of Auckland), where I developed a strong foundation in visual language and conceptual storytelling. In 2023, I was honoured to win the NZ Fashion Week Photography Competition, leading to collaborations across fashion, lifestyle, and events, with a focus on creating work that feels both visually striking and meaningful.

In 2024, I trained at The Actors’ Program, deepening my understanding of performance, character, and emotional storytelling, an experience that continues to inform my work across disciplines.

My background in sport and modelling has also shaped how I work. From competitive figure skating to championship-level volleyball, and international modelling, I developed discipline, resilience, and a strong awareness of the camera and the value of collaborative process.

At the heart of everything I do is a love of creation. I’m drawn to projects that feel cinematic, thoughtful, challenging, and slightly unexpected. I always want to create artwork that tells a story and leaves people feeling something.

I’m multi-faceted — and that’s my strength.

Whatever the medium, my goal is the same: to create authenticity and connect to the world around us.
